How much data do you need in Serbia?

Rough bands: light use is 1 to 3GB, a typical week is 5 to 10GB, and heavy use points to eSIM4’s unlimited plans. Serbia leans on data more than you’d expect since Uber and Bolt don’t run in Belgrade, so you’ll open CarGo or Yandex Go instead, and both need a live connection to work.

Light use: 1GB to 3GB

A typical week: 5GB to 10GB

Handles daily navigation, social media, the odd video call and some streaming, and it’s the most common choice for a week split between Belgrade and Novi Sad.

Serbia’s mobile networks and coverage

Serbia runs on three mobile operators. Telekom Srbija (branded mts) is the largest, with roughly 42.7% share, the widest national reach including rural and southern areas, and the strongest city 5G. Yettel Serbia, formerly Telenor, holds around 33% share and was recently rated the best overall network experience by Opensignal. A1 Srbija, formerly Vip mobile, is the third operator.

Will your phone work with an eSIM in Serbia?

How to set up your Serbia eSIM
