How eSIM4 Unlimited Data Works
Each unlimited plan gives you 3GB at full speed in any 24 hour period. Once you pass that, speed drops to about 1 Mbps until midnight local time, then the full-speed allowance comes back.
That slower speed handles WhatsApp, maps, email and browsing. It’s too slow for video calls or streaming, so a heavy day of either uses up the 3GB and then crawls. The rule is in eSIM4’s terms and conditions.
Lengths sold are 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 30 days. 107 of the 150 destinations have all six, and the rest are missing some.
Your days start when the eSIM first connects, so buying early uses none. Hotspot sharing is allowed on every plan.

Thailand is the cheapest place for a month of unlimited data at $47.98, or $1.60 a day. The next cheapest month is $56.98 in Croatia or EU + UK.
Saudi Arabia also has a single 1 day unlimited plan at $6.98. It’s the only 1 day plan, so the table leaves it out.
A 30 day plan costs less a day than a 3 day plan in every destination that sells both. Thailand is $2.66 a day over 3 days and $1.60 a day over 30.

Oceania is sold for 3 to 10 days and Africa for 3 to 15 days, so neither has a 30 day plan. The other six run 3 to 30 days.
Europe covers 42 countries. The separate EU + UK plan is cheaper, at $56.98 for 30 days against $69.98 for Europe. If your route stays inside the EU and the UK, price that one first.
For a single country, the country plan is usually the better buy. Thailand’s $7.98 for 3 days is lower than any regional 3 day price in the table.
Is There a Global Unlimited eSIM?
No. eSIM4 doesn’t sell a global unlimited plan. Discover Global, the worldwide eSIM, has fixed-data plans only, and you can check its country list on the plan page before you buy.

When Unlimited Is Worth It, and When a Fixed Plan Wins
Unlimited costs more. A fixed plan gives you a set amount of data for the whole period, which is cheaper if you use little. Unlimited gives you a daily allowance with no total to run out of.
Take Thailand. A 7 day unlimited plan is $19.98. A 10GB plan for 30 days is $9.98, and that’s about 1.4GB a day if you use it all in a week. Anyone who uses less than that pays less on the fixed plan.
The gap grows over a month. Thailand’s biggest fixed plan, 20GB for 30 days, is $16.98, against $47.98 for 30 days unlimited. Japan is $23.98 against $67.98.
That 20GB averages about 0.67GB a day. Unlimited makes sense when you’ll use more than that most days, or when you’d rather not watch a meter.
